One World Day

Registrations are closed
The French American Chamber of Commerce for Ohio invites you to join us for Cleveland’s “One World Day” this Sunday, August 28! It will be a great day for a walk or bike in the Cultural Gardens of Cleveland along Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard without any traffic!! While there, come see the site of the French Cultural Garden, which we hope to start building later this year!

The first event of the day will be the Parade of Flags at 11:00 a.m. Help us carry the French flag in the Parade along with groups from dozens of other international and native communities in Cleveland. The parade route starts near the Serbian Garden at the north end of the Cultural Gardens.  For more details and a map see the One World Day website: https://clevelandoneworldday.org/2022/schedule/

After the parade, drive (or hike) to the southern end of the Cultural Gardens and join us at the French Garden site (which is not yet on the OWD map). Feel free to bring a “pique-nique” and make an afternoon of it.  The closest parking to the French Garden is on or bear the Wade Park Avenue bridge over Martin Luther King Blvd. Our garden site is directly below that Bridge.

Bring family and friends! It should be a great day for a walk, or hike, or bike ride in the Cultural Gardens
